Lightweight, and soft, lots of texture from the variety of crochet stitches used, and beautiful roving colour changes from the Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable acrylic yarn in Tidal, you will need 3 skeins for this project. This yarn will give the blanket a lovely silky feel and a gorgeous drape that will not overwhelm whoever you want to make it for."

I love the end result from the Unforgettable Hazel Birthday Blanket/Lapgan. The fact that I can create something this wonderful without all that yarn color change and ends to weave in is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the wonderful free pattern.

Wow! The pattern written in both USA and UK crochet terms. Here is an opportunity to learn how to read UK terms with the USA version close at hand. Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable acrylic yarn is a crocheters best friend. The yarn gives you the opportunity to make something very colorful without all of the yarn changes. I love the texture here. My aunt is also now in a nursing home in Texas, and its always challenging to send her something she can use. She has such limited storage space that I worry about overwhelming her with stuff. This lovely and lacy lapghan will be perfect for her birthday! I love the different stitches and textures. I love that Red Heart Unforgettable yarn, too, and am ALWAYS happy to find a new place to use it.

This is an amazing looking afghan. Amazing also is the fact I have never come across it before. I practically live on this site. I think the Red Heart line of Unforgettable yarn was named just right. I have used it on many projects. It's gorgeous in how it's self shading, plus it's so soft. Thank you for sharing.

What a great idea. A wheel chair sized lapghan. My elderly aunt just got admitted to a rehab center for the next 20 days and is using a wheelchair to get around while doing her physical therapy. This would be a great gift for her. I gotta get started on it now so I can have it ready in a couple of days. Excellent pattern.
