What a nice textured cowl. For the beginner trust and believe you will be happy with the finished project here. There are a simple stitches that I am sure a beginner can accomplish. For me, deciding on the color is always the most time consuming for me. However, I kinda like the color here so I think I will stay with it.

How can you pass this Coco cowl by? The crochet stitches are very simple and only a single skin of yarn is required to make it. This is a true beginner pattern that will yield a beautiful product at the end. You may want to go ahead and buy two skeins of yarn because someone is gonna want one just like yours.

This is a wonderful project for even a fairly new crafter. The mixture of two simple stitches creates a very pretty fabric in this project, and according to the designer, only requires one skein of yarn. I love the alternating solid and open sections. Even while being worn, the distinctive pattern is still recognizable. Thanks so much for including this easy project on AllFreeCrochet!

I was expecting this cowl to be a coco brown color, but instead it is a pretty rich grape color. There is a nice contrasting "stripe" written into the pattern to break up the star stitch. At least, it looks like a star stitch to me. That creates a nice interest.
