Granny Square Tea Cozy

From the designer: "NOTE: There are 2 pattern files one for UK and one for US terminology

What better way to celebrate your country kitchen than with a pot of tea kept warm in this easy crochet tea cozy. The cosy is created using 2 adapted granny squares. Make it in solid colours, use multiple colours or a multi-coloured yarn, which is what I have used here. Ideally you want to use a high wool content yarn as acrylics tend to misshape when they get hot. AND wool will keep your tea warmer. This is a great project for a beginner who has mastered the granny square and now wants to attempt a crochet pattern. The pattern has 2 versions - one that uses US terminology and the other that uses UK terminology. Something for everyone! Size To fit tea pot with a max circumference of 53 cm (21 inches) not including handle and spout.
