Bunny Lovey

"This free bunny lovey crochet pattern is the perfect mix of snuggly blanket and sweet little bunny friend, and it’s bound to steal your heart. Whether you’re making it for a baby shower gift, a little one in your life, or just because, this project is sure to be a fast favorite. Loveys are such a fun toy to make because they’re quick, practical, and full of personality. The finished lovey is perfect for gifts and guaranteed to bring smiles, cuddles, and maybe even a few squeals of joy. With this pattern, you’ll get the best of both worlds: a soft and cozy mini blanket that’s easy for tiny hands to hold, plus an irresistibly cute amigurumi bunny top that makes it extra special. The bunny lovey crochet pattern also features the not-as-well-known crochet technique called “Linked Crochet”. It’s a technique to allow you to use basic crochet stitches but reduces the number of gaps in between the stitches. (In fact, it’s an early stage of Tunisian Crochet, but without needing a new special hook. Pretty cool, huh?) It’s so nice when baby blankets and loveys don’t have large holes, because little fingers can get caught on them. Sure, you could use single crochet stitches to eliminate those gaps but then your project would take so much longer! Using linked stitches is a great way to go gap free while saving time spent stitching."
