Herringbone Stripe Baby Blanket

By: Heather Hamlin from A More Crafty Life
Herringbone Stripe Baby Blanket

"Create a cozy, stripe-textured baby blanket with this free Herringbone Stripe Baby Blanket crochet pattern. Worked in bulky (gauge 6) yarn, it uses just two stitches — herringbone double crochet and single crochet — to build a soft, plush fabric that works up quickly. The self-striping chenille yarn gives beautiful color shifts without changing skeins. The finished blanket measures approximately 37" × 50", and you can easily adjust size by modifying the foundation chain (odd number + 3). A simple border in contrasting color completes the look. Great for baby showers or snuggling tots."
