Love the concept here! Is there supposed to be a chain 1 at the beginning of each row 3?

I like to keep a few hats on hand because we have a local shelter in the area that I like to make donations to. I enjoy making different patterns just so that I am not bored with my craft. I really like this faux fur pompom.

I really love to find crochet patterns that are considered easy and work up really quickly. I have a short attention span and the sooner I can complete a project the better for me. I can get this done in a day if I can find some time for myself. Thanks for the pattern and the link to learn how to make a fake fur pom pom.

Hmm, this is kind of weird, but I could have sworn I read this pattern before and wrote a personal opinion on it. Obviously I am wrong! I prefer the faux fur poms to yarn poms almost any day of the week, and the multi-colored yarn with purples, blues and (greens or pinks?) to me look so, so pretty. I like the flat and wide rib stitch used.

If you have been watching the Winter Olympics, you are familiar with this bulky toque sported by the Womens Snowboarding team. It was way too good for us clever crafters to pass up! Before you knew it, there were several different variations on the theme of this knitted cap. This Posh Pooch pattern is one of the better ones, and Sara has provided a nice embedded instructional video, too.
