Im glad the designer explains the difference between the Ball Stitch and the Puff because Ive never heard of it before now. She also explains how she uses Single Crochet between the Balls to make it tighter. I can see how this would make a highly effective dishcloth, and if you work it up in a smaller form, it would be a great scrubby, too.

I have always known this stitch as the popcorn stitch. It is a VERY fun stitch to do. I haven't used this stitch since I made my son a baby blanket 15 years ago. Oh- the bobble stitch is another name for it. It will really facilitate the cleaning process, whether it be the bath, your dishes, or your dirty coffee table. It is very pretty done up in those light pastel colors.

I made a number of these with some cotton yard I had left over. They are great for cleaning and wear well. I use them in the kitchen and for cleaning the shower. I think they would work well as a washcloth as well. The only down side is that they get heavy when wet and take some time to dry.
