Pansy Crochet Flower

search

Pansies are a classic garden flower that remain a favorite among gardeners because of their cute "puppy dog" face. Now you can learn how to crochet your very own pansy flower with this free flower pattern. Make one and add it as a applique to a crocheted bag, hat, or afghan. Use any color combination you want to work up this crochet flower pattern. Adding embellishments such as small metal brads or beads are optional, but add a nice finishing touch. Using a G crochet hook and worsted weight yarn will result in a crochet flower that measures about 3.5" across, but you're welcome to experiment with other crochet hook sizes to achieve a different size flower.

Pansies are my all time favorite flower! Forget tulips or daffodils, I look forward to my pansy patch blooming every Spring. I love their happy little faces, and so glad my mum introduced me to them! This pattern replicates the real flower almost perfectly. Great little scrap buster, too. I cant wait to work up a few in my favorite colors.

A perfect springtime crochet project! I'm thinking about making these in white with a variegated purple center. They would look perfect hot-glued to a crochet Easter basket, or maybe a flower pot.

These are so cute!! Love it!!

Catnapp: I had the same issue, so I just did a "copy and paste" of the pattern to a Word document. Worked fine. I will be making these pansies to put on a dog collar.

I have an Adobe PDF reader and the only way I could get this pattern was to download a PDF reader. I don't think so. ANother pattern unobtainable without downloading something not needed or signing up for another newsletter. This is happening more frequently and may end up canceling this newsletter altogether.

Hi there - there is no download button on my blog. I don't require anyone to download or sign up for anything to use my patterns. I only publish my patterns on the pages, and most people copy and paste them if they want to print them off. If you're clicking something trying to download it, it's possible you're clicking an ad. - Rebecca

Hi, I love your patterns. But I am just a beginner and not much good in understanding your phrases for certain design. If there is a video, it will be very much helpful. I am thinking for doing a sweater for my husband for his birthday. Raji Singapore

I'm sorry, I don't have a video. But if you're looking for specific skills, it's usually easy to search for and find videos for them on Pinterest. Hope that helps! - Rebecca
