Star of David Crochet Ornament

The Star of David Crochet Ornament is a surprisingly simple pattern to crochet for the holidays. You'll need less than a skein of white worsted weight yarn to work up these star-shaped crochet ornaments, plus they are accented with iridescent beads to give them a little hint of sparkle. You won't believe how quick and easy these ornaments are to crochet, and you can simply use the photo as a guide when it's time to assemble them. Each ornament measures half an inch in diameter.

This does look like a very simple project to do and shouldnt take very long. Without seeing the pattern yet, it looks like a combination of two triangles that are crocheted then sewn together maybe? Yes, I see that it is. This will take barely any time or yarn to make so looks like Star of Davids for everyone this year.

This is a simple, elegant project that can be used as a gift attachment or ornament. The most complicated stitch is the picot. While the bulk of the directions were clear, I was confused by what the author indicates is the size of the finished project. This needs a little bit of editing to say that the 1/2 inch size refers to the width of each row rather than the entire project itself.

I have made quite a few garlands of these for my Jewish friends and they just LOVE them. Thanx for the lovely pattern!
