OMG So Luxurious Loofah

search

The OMG So Luxurious Loofah is just what you need to relax after a long day. Just one ball of ball Mary Maxium Scrub It yarn is needed to work up this crochet pattern. This particular worsted weight yarn is ideal for crochet patterns that are designed to get wet, like this crocheted loofah. The texture is soft and absorbent instead of heavy and thick. Treat yourself to this homemade loofah, or add a cute animal head to it for a child. Either way, this luxurious loofah is definitely a must-have in everyone's bathroom.

I love using bath poufs like this. Theyre a lot easier to soap up than regular washcloths, and instead of using a cotton or acrylic yarn, it uses actual Scrubby yarn. I havent seen the brand she recommends so I dont know how scratchy it might be. Real loofahs are the skeletons of a gourd, and while they can be scratchy when you first use them, they do soften over time.

I have never seen a loofa made from scrubby yarn before. But it makes sense. The acrylic yarn doesnt do well wet. I have some Red Heart Scrubby yarn and it feels soft enough to use to make this pattern OMG So Luxurious Loofa. It has just enough scrubbiness to work as a great exfoliator. I started making it and cannot wait till it is done.

I love this loofah. It does not look like it was crocheted. I will be making this for my holiday gift. The yarn is sold on my favorite online store and the price is awesome.less than $3.00 a ball.

This is great! Here is a pattern for a luxurious bath pouf which utilizes the right type of yarn. Pair this handmade pouf with a bottle of equally luxurious bath or shower gel and you are ready to give a unique and personal gift to a teacher, neighbor or a friend. I love mixing something that I made myself with something bought from the store and presenting as a set. I have not ever worked with this yarn much less seen it at the store, but it sounds phenomenal.
