These baby socks look totally adorable! My sister is due with her first baby in October, and I think these will make a great gift! I am trying to decide which things I want to make before he is born, because I have so many things I want to make! I think these socks will be on the before list, because I do not think they will take me very long to make.

The only baby sock Ive worked with a turned heel was the knitted variety, and since Im not exactly a stellar knitter, it was definitely a challenge for me. Even though I have a great deal of faith in this designers projects, Im not seeing where the heel portion begins. Ill have to jump in and work up a sample before deciding whether or not to keep this pattern. I do wish she had included an instructional video though.
