Parquet Tiles Crochet Blanket Pattern

If you are looking for a crochet blanket pattern for beginners that has minimum stress but maximum wow factor, then you have come to the right place. On this Parquet Tiles Crochet Blanket Pattern, the interlocking bars from the parquet design look stunning—and complex—but no one has to know how easy it was to make. The secret lies in the crochet granny squares, which you make 42 of and then sew together. Yes, it really is that simple. This yarn is variegated, providing the stripes all on its own, and the gorgeous blue tones coordinate well with the warm browns to give this granny square afghan a welcoming yet sophisticated appearance.

I for one have never been a fan of making granny squares and sewing them all together. But, I have to say that this Parquet Tiles Crochet Blanket Pattern has changed my mind on doing it. I just love the look of this one and now have it on my "must make list". Oh who would think I would make squares to sew together? No me.. LOL Thank you so much for changing my mind and sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.

Blanket squares instead of granny squares make up this afghan. I call them blanket squares because they just dont look like the typical granny square with lots of open weave stitching. You will make approximately forty two of these squares then sew them together. The sewing will be the hardest part.

You got me. I love to work with granny squares and I would never have know that this parquet tiles crochet blanket was made with granny squares. If you are a true beginner, you will amaze your friends and family with this. They will not believe this is beginner material.

This Churchill Downs yarn really produces a beautiful crochet blanket. I would not have know that these were square motifs sewn together. This easy pattern will make you feel really accomplished if you decide to make this. This is a great piece to have or to gift.

Quite a simple concept that has been turned into such an amazing looking afghan. It really couldn't be easier. All we are doing is making 42 motifs using rows of double crochets- with each motif being 7" square. After we're done making the motifs we just sew them together in alternating directions to resemble the parquet design. I love the colors, too!

What a lovely, eye-catching crochet blanket. I thought they were ordinary crochet tiles attached to each other but no. The yarn used made a difference in the look of the blanket. I thought there were different colors of yarn used but this is just one type made by Caron. It's sad that this type of yarn is not available in my country. Anyway this Parquet Tiles Crochet Blanket Pattern resembles a parquet floor made alive in a crochet blanket pattern.

I love the ribbon flower tutorials. The fabric flowers as well. Great fun. Perfect for projects and gifting)

I really appreciate your beginning crochet tips and tutorials. I re-learned a wonderful craft! Thank you so much! 5 stars!

Defintively mile a minute patterns

I love the bold color of this blanket! The unique design is also really eye-catching.
