Clever Christmas Bottle Caplet

Present the right hostess gift at the next party you go to by dressing it in this Clever Christmas Bottle Caplet. You'll work up a design that reminds me of a bottle hat and mini skirt, creating a fun way to give a bottle of fancy champagne, wine, or sparkling juice as a gift. You could even just use it as a homemade Christmas decoration for your own party so that you have an excuse to set the bottles out in the open without looking tacky. Whatever your use, this is definitely a clever and unique Christmas crochet pattern.

This project sparked all kinds of new ideas for me. The topper and caplet are cute as they are, but Im thinking for fancy champagne, you could use white and gold yarn, add dangling beads around the topper and skirt, and really glam it out! Or you could go with a single color scheme, like red, and change the beads to crystal hearts for a fancy Valentines Day presentation.
