I am so very happy to have found this pattern. I make baby outfits of a diaper cover, hat and booties. But some of the boy outfits don't look just right with booties. I made a few with crochet sneakers but these will be perfect to go with the summer outfits. Just a change of color! Thank you.

These are very nice little sandals. I love the extra detailed stitchingit really makes it look like a handwoven bit of fabric. The designer offers these in 3 to 6 month as well as 6 to 12 month sizes. While there arent any step by step photos, there are plenty of samples with different color combinations. She also has hot links to tutorials for specific techniques.

After reading this pattern, I can say it is a easy pattern for someone who knows how to crochet, not so much for a beginner. There are links to show you how to do the weaving and top crocheting technique. That being said, I will be making a few pairs of these cute baby sandals. I'll use Velcro closures for the strap to make it easier for the moms to strap on the sandals, but add the button to finish the look.. Thank you for the free pattern.
