I love this granny version of a star! I worked it up first in ordinary worsted, and was so pleased, I got my big spool of cotton yarn to work up a batch more. Dont limit this clever project to just coasters. Im linking several together to form a table runner to match the coasters. The stars would make nice appliqus on a pair of blue denim jeans, too. Challenge your imagination on how many ways you can use this one!
