Made with an 80/20 alpaca and wool blend, this looks amazingly lightweight and stunning. What a great combination of colors she has chosen. You may come up with YOUR own color combination! NO wrong choices here, do what you like. The wrap has an ebb and flow like a rounded ripple pattern with fan clusters sandwiched in between.

Heres another Ripple based pattern that defies all the rules for me. The designer calls for using a very fine hooksize Esince shes using an 80% alpaca/20% wool blend. Ive seen some alpaca yarns in the craft stores but not that ratio. A good baby or fingering yarn might work just as well but it probably wont be as soft. This just looks like it would float away on the breeze!

This shawl is beautiful. It reminds me a lot of one Kristin Omadal's designs, which is a very high compliment, since Kristin Omadal is the queen of beautiful,intricate lacy shawls. I really love lace. I love making it and wearing it. This shawl has the delicate looking lace throughout and I really love the yarn that was used.
