I like this Gemma shawl for its style of alternating stitches. I like the total look of the shawl but I don't like the colors used here. I'd like to see this project in earth colors or any vibrant color. I can't wait to start this shawl.

Love me some triangle scarves like this one! I think if I wanted to "cheat" on my color changes I most likely would buy my current favorite yarn, the Lion Brand Mandala. The colors are already coordinated for me so it takes the guess work out of it. Or, you could say it makes the colorway decision FOR me so I don't get stuck with my indecision. So feminine with the lacy border. I just know I would wear the heck out of this one.

This is a little more advanced so I would not recommend it for a beginner. But I would save it for when you get more experience. It's a very pretty pattern. It's not really hard but it will take time to work it up. Thank you for sharing this great project.
