Longline Merino Coat

"Soft and chunky Merino Wool Long-Line coat pattern.  This coat features tall/folded collar. Button cuffed sleeves and soft curved edging. It has a soft 3 scalloped edge and has a lovely stretch for keeping warm and comfortable this Winter. This free pattern is for size 18M to 24M This pattern is made with a 10mm crochet hook. Chunky Merino/Alpaca mix wool has been used for this pattern. Other chunky and soft yarn would work just as well. Just make sure it matches a 10mm hook to get the correct size. It is a very easy to follow pattern with hdc being the main stitch. Please contact me through page if you have any questions."

"This free pattern is for size 18M to Adult Large ".......it is actually for 18M-24M. If you want the pattern for the larger sizes, you have to pay for it on her Etsy site. I wanted it for an adult, but I wasn't expecting to have to pay for it. Maybe another time.

Hi KeniMac, Thanks for pointing this out to us - I've gone ahead and updated the description to reflect the proper sizes. Julia, AllFreeCrochet editor

A baby sweater coat. How precious. The turned down collar makes her look so grown up. One of the things that is missing that I noticed was a gauge chart in case I decide to use a different yarn which will probably be the case. Wool yarn is too expensive for my wallet so maybe Vannas Choice?

How adorable this baby sweater coat is! If you can swing it, wouldn't it be wonderful to make a mommie and me sweater coat set to give as a gift? It will certainly be a labor of love on your part it will take your time, money, and energy. But some projects are just too special to pass up! This is done up in half double crochets, so easy-peasy for you! You can also use as a substitute a double strand of a medium worsted weight yarn to get the same effect. You could use that opportunity to mix your colors to customize the piece!
