This is so I could create loads of bags easily and cheaply in different colours to suit my outfit or mood! This tote is a great step up from beginner to intermediate crochet. I need a new tote to take to the pool this summer, and this bag looks like just the thing. As the designer states, it uses minimal amounts of yarn, so it can be quite inexpensive. Ill work it up in acrylic yarn since I want it to hold my wet swimsuit and towel. I love the combination of bluesit matches my suit and beach sandals as well.

So I thought I was the only one. I like to carry market bags that match the outfit that I am wearing as well. We change our purses to match our outfit so why not a market tote as well. This bag is really a good size for me. If I get much more fresh produce than this bag will hold, by the end of the week I will have to trash some of it.

Market bags should also be able to reflect the mood you are in when you carry it. I love this pattern as it only requires a small amount of yarn and with the option for your finished bag to be two colors you have a great many options to choose from. The design is also very pretty.

I like this tote bag pattern. Some of the mesh or open weave bag pattern I've seen looked like they would stretch too much to be useful. Plus they look like smaller things would just fall out of them. This one has a solid bottom and breaks up the mesh with solid rows, so I think it would be sturdier.
