Betta Fish In A Jar

"A betta fish is a great desktop pet for a cubicle dweller, teacher, or just to dress up a boring side table. But what about a betta fish that doesn't need fed? He doesn't even need water! This betta fish is a different take on the goldfish in a jar. He is made in all one piece, in the sport weight yarn of your choice. However, I am partial to the mini skeins in Lion Brand Bonbons."

This is the perfect starter pet for the child that is begging for a pet. I know it will not replace a real pet but you can get some idea how interested or serious the child is depending on how they care for the life like Betta fish in a jar.

Now this is the perfect pet. She will require no special feedings and if your week end trip turns out to last over a week, you have no fear that something terrible will happy to Fishy. I love animals but I have promised no more. This is the perfect replacement pet.

Before my grown children settled into their own homes, there was a lot of apartment living. Naturally, no pets were generally allowed, so Beta fish filled the gap. Since they generally dont require an aquarium set up, there werent any issues with leaks and large amounts of water. Some of the grandkids still keep Betas in addition to other pets now.
