Prym Headband

"Prym is a free crochet headband pattern that features a cute little bow on the front. The headband itself is very easy to make as it is made up of basic crochet stitches. You can easily modify the length of the ties if bows are really not your style. This pattern uses less than one ball of Knit Picks Swish worsted weight yarn, making it the perfect item to sell at craft fairs. Whip up a few in different colors today!"

I wear headbands all the time, but this is definitely a step beyond my usual grab and go utilitarian versions. I like that the back of the band is tapered so its much narrower than the front. Thats probably my number one complaint about most headband patterns. The body of the band is worked in very basic stitches, but that cording and tie really sets this one apart.

I wanted to see this headband being worn on an actual person. It is a helpful tool in helping me to make a decision as to whether or not I want to make something. Gray is the new black, or so it seems! The color is growing on me. Keep the new and unique patterns coming!

Unfortunately not everyone has access to live models, and I know I'm not willing to model my own stuff. So I have to rely on foam heads instead.
