Carnations are one of my favorite flowers and this would be a beautiful collection to my pins. I am just loving the pink and white. Thank you for the free pattern.

What a frilly crochet carnation. Pink is my favorite color so that makes it just that much more special. I am really interested in making a lot of these and creating a bouquet to display on a side table. This is a design for a pin and I hope that I can make some adjustments for a bouquet.

I have a pattern for a bouquet of crocheted carnations from the 6/26/1979 issue of Family Circle that uses KnitCroSheen and a size 7 steel crochet hook. They look similar to the one pictured here except that they used "shaded pinks" so you get a variegated colored carnation for the bouquet. It was beautiful and easy to make.
