I typically do not like to wear hats and I seldom even look at the patterns for them. However when looking thru the free patterns on All Free Crochet I got a glimpse of this one and found it oddly attractive. I love the edge of this stocking cap and I am even considering making it for myself.

This is a lovely toboggan and in only a short amount of time it will be time to break out your hat stash or create a few new ones to get you ready to start this coming fall/winter season. I am not crazy about the colors here but I have to note that the edge of this is what really makes it attractive.

What magnificent and regal colors! I have to admit that's what caught my attention first on the page but then I got to looking at the pattern and it's pretty special too! This artisan has captured this visual learner's heart with well written directions and videos! It certainly won't hurt me to learn a couple of new stitches along the way either.

I love making hats, and I always look out for interesting designs and textures. I love how the basic beanie shape is interrupted with the special stitch design. This pattern is available to be printed off or as a download, and the designer has also provided instructional videos for this specific project. Check out Rhonddas latest video for a baby hat, too!

Tried this craft? What did you think?

A week ago I could barely hold the hook right, but my persistence payed off, after 12 hours, one do over, and many rewinds, my little hat came out exactly how I wanted. thank you Rhonda for making this easy to follow video for newbies like me!!

A pretty, feminine hat using the Red Heart Soft yarn which is one of my favorite yarns. I have made cowls and infinity scarves with this yarn for the drape that it provides. It has been loved by all the recipients! It uses a simple cluster stitch to create the pretty effect. A great pattern to save to my project list.

I made this hat with Red Heart Soft yarn so it could be used as a chemotherapy cap. It turned out great. I think this pattern is also called the "I Feel Pretty Hat".

This is a beautiful hat pattern. After reading the well written pattern I will be making a few of these Just Divine Hats to give as gifts. The colors go together a lot better then I would of thought. I think I'll do more of the blue and less purple for my girls and the more purple one for me.. Thank you so much for this free pattern.

I'm also loving this hat pattern, Cheryl, I wouldn't have expected those colors in the picture to go together so well either! I will definitely be making matching hats for my small daughter and I, she loves when she gets a new crocheted item from her mommy!

This is so lovely, the color is fantastic. I want to make this with a matching capelet. Woooo, I can't wait if only for the color combination. Here is the link to the pattern http//oombawkadesigncrochet.com/2014/06/i-feel-pre == tty-womens-crochet-hat.html
