Turtle Shell Lapghan
The Turtle Shell Lapghan is a great throw that the whole family will love. Use the classic shell stitch to crochet this free crochet afghan pattern. Feel free to use green and cream colored yarn as shown here, or come up with your own color scheme to complete this crochet blanket. It's also a great crochet pattern to make if you want to use up your leftover yarn. It measures 31 inches x 57 inches when complete.

This beautiful turtle shell lapghan looks so easy to make. I have a friend who loves turtles, and she would love something like this. I made her a sea turtle blanket last year, and this would be another awesome gift to give her. Do you know anyone who would love this lapghan?

This beautiful project is a stellar example of what you can do with just one single stitch combination, in this case a lovely Shell Stitch. The two different shades of green work well with the Off White, but you could get a similar effect with just about any other color. This would be very nice in shades of blue or pink for baby blankets, and if you wanted to liven things up, using rainbow colors would be pretty, too.

What a beautiful Turtle Shell Lapghan pattern. The pattern is well written and easy to understand. I don't understand the hardness ratting, it reads easy enough, but then again I have been crocheting for over 30 years. This is a beautiful blanket.. Thank you for this free pattern.
