I love the look of this crochet cable baby hat. I have been trying to find a unique hat patten to make for my nephew, who will be here in October. This would look great in a lighter color, or even black or navy blue. I love the colors shown here, but I am not sure my sister or her husband would put those on their baby.

I haven't tried crochet cables, even though I have really wanted to because I love the way they look. This is a small project, so it seems like it would be a great project to try out cables. I think it would be a great project to donate to hospitals or another charity of your choosing.

I have been looking for a new looking for a new pattern for a baby hat and this Newborn Cable Crochet Beanie is perfect! I love the look of this beanie and will be making a few of them for my up coming great Grand daughter.
