I can't find the pattern either. I so dislike having to jump thru hoops trying to find a pattern that seemingly doesn't exist, it's very frustrating. It sure would be nice if you can get this pattern out here for us! Thanks so much!

I cant find your pattern. I love the light and lace afghan it is an easy pattern for me. Since I have added it helps me to finish something. Please help to bring it back.

I made this several times when I first started crocheting. I wanted to do it for a friend now and the site is gone! Where did you go?

Hi gammawall 2956278, thank you for letting us know, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We have reached out to the blogger and hope to have this tutorial available again soon. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. - Editors of AllFreeCrochet

They did not reach out to me. My site domain gets an annual update every January right around the 15th. I was a little slow in getting it paid. I apologize! Thank you so much for the love and support!! Shelly, Author/Creator Missed Stitches Crochet

Hi Shelly, I'm so sorry for the confusion. I did email you in January, but it is possible that the email address we have on file for you is either incorrect or outdated. If you would like to share your current email address so we can update our records, please feel free to email editor@allfreecrochet.com. Again, I apologize for the miscommunication. - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

I have made this blanket so many times that I have lost count. It was a pattern in a magazine here in Scotland about 3 or 4 years ago for what was called a 'love darg' It was so simple and I have done so many since then for charity. Your tutorial would have been ideal for a friend who struggles to read a pattern, but we managed to get her through it.

I do like the look of this Light and Lacy Crochet Baby Blanket. I think it would be a good one for the warmer weather. The pattern is well written and there is a great video to show how to make it. I've saved this one and hope to make it soon. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet baby blanket pattern.

I love, love, love the texture of this Light Lacey Crochet Baby Blanket! And while the colors are not ones I would have originally combined I think they look great together too! I think I've caught at least one stitch in the pattern that will be new for me so I'm off on an adventure! Glad that it is designated "easy" and is small so it should make up quickly.

This is the perfect blanket to make for family or friends who live in one of the warmer states for their new baby. The lighter pattern will cover the baby but not make them overly warm. Excellent pattern to share with others.

The patterns that seem to get my attention when I browse are the ones with design elements that are unique. I have to say, this one really caught my eye because of the open weave design and the way that the stitches seem to "build" on each other. I also like the tri color here but I would have gone with something else like primary colors. Even if crocheted in a single color, you can't go wrong with this baby blanket.

Good only when baby is still in his crib. The spaces in this blanket might cause the baby to fall or trip when he starts to move on his own so this one is only up to his infancy. Great as gift , though.

I just made this afghan, but cut down to smaller size for a lapghan. Used off white, yellow and tangerine to make. Decided to CH 80, go from there. A little narrower, but very pretty. Loved the look of the pattern. Thank you to whom gave this to us crocheters. Love the off set shells and straight rows of DC.

Im always drawn to projects with unusual stitch textures, and I love the way the shells are offset from each other. As I was working up a sample, I did find one small error in Row 3. After working 5 DC in the first DC of the previous 5 DC Shell, there are only 4 DC remaining. You cant work 5 more individual Double Crochet without going into the Ch2 space. It might not be obvious in the instructions, but it shows up when working the pattern.

I like the open lacy design of this crochet baby blanket. As suggested, this design could assist in decreasing the amount of scrap yarn you may have. Even if you selected to crochet with a single color, this would be a wonderful blanket to keep for your own baby or as a gift.

Love this pattern. I am running low on yarn so I decided to make a scarf in single crochet instead. It is looking so good and I had no problems with the pattern so far. I really do HEART your Lacy Baby afghan. I can't wait to purchase some yarn and get started on an afghan.

I made this afghan for my great-grandson in self-striping DK yarn and put a shell border around it instead of the one shown. It worked up really, really quickly and I was super happy with the way it turned out.

I made it in a varigated white, pink, and blue, then made the edge in pink for my great-niece. Came out beautiful

The above comment from me was concerning the Light and Lacy Baby Blanket pattern.. Not sure if I commented in the right place. Thanks... Parcel1

Hello, You can contact the designer at her blog for your question about the pattern: http://missedstitches.blogspot.com/ (Remove the = before pasting the url into your browser.) Hope that helps!

I am assuming that in row 3 after you complete the 5 dc in the 1st dc of the shell and chain2, that you skip the other 4 dc of the shell and skip the chain 2 space before doing 1 dc in next 5 dc. Am I right or wrong?

Hi shelley, trying to do the light and lacy baby blanket. in row 2 how do you do 4 dc in last 3 sc? in row 3 is there a '2ch' missing after '5 dc in 1st dc of shell' ? otherwise how can you do 'sk ch2sp' in next row? thanks, Margaret.
