Bev's Special Olympics Winter Games Scarf

This scarf idea was originally designed for the Special Olympics Winter games of 2009. Their goal was to create 5,000 scarves in blue and white, with the only rule being that the scarves were knitted or crocheted by hand using delft blue (885) and white (311) Red Heart Super Saver yarn. You can make your own Special Olympics scarf today!

That was true of 2009 the color of the scarves were Delft Blue and White. For winter olympics for 2010 (actually to be worn in 2011) the scarf color is two shades of blue. If it were up to me I think the people competing should wear the scarves for at least 2 years because: a) it took time to make the scarves for last year. b) cost factor. I picked up mailing expense and bought yarn. I am not employed this year on a regular basis. Economy of cut-back does not permit lots of excess. I am sure 5,000 scarves can last 2 years. I am not scrooge but I am not rich either. Signed me concerned about finances.

HEY NONE OF THESE PATTERNS WOULD PRINT, JUST ALOT OF BLOG, IT JUST WASTED ALOT OF PAPER BUT NO PATTERN ON IT. WHAT IS WRONG?????????????? PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I WANTED THE MENS SCARF AND TWO OR THREE OF THE OTHERS BUT NO LUCK. Earthangel1054@WildBlue.net

It's been a while since you posted this so perhaps you have it figured out. My thoughts are 1) are you clicking on the link this website provides, to go to the actual website where the pattern is housed, 2) possibly your computer or printer settings need to be adjusted, 3) If worst comes to worst, you can highlight the text, using y a left click and mouse over and then hit print and print choose the option to just print the highlighted selection.
