Gumdrop Kids Hat

search

Just because the winter months mean grey and dreary weather doesn't mean we can't add a splash of color to the world. This Gumdrop Kids Hat looks amazing with a medley of bright colors, especially pinks and yellows. Any little girl or boy would be thrilled to show this hat off on the playground at school. Although this free crochet pattern is a little more involved than other crochet hat patterns, it is well worth the extra work. Tight stitches make for a thicker, warmer hat. Plus, the comfy ear flaps protect little ears from the wind.

I spotted this hat on a blog some time ago, but could not track down the pattern, I am thrilled that its finally shown up on here! The hat is worked almost entirely in Front Post Triples, but dont worry, the designer has included extremely detailed, round by round photos to guide you. Theres even an instructional video and .pdf download, too!

Trying to get to the tutorial via the link given and it won't let me go to the site that it is on. I also tried going directly to the site and that doesn't work either. Does anybody have this problem as well?
