Oh my. This is a very beautiful fingerless mittens. It provides enough cover for the cold weather but gives just enough space for you to be able to hold a cup of hot coffee or chocolate. Will look great in other favorite colors. Can't wait to make this.

I am always pressed for time when making a project either be because I start late and run out of time or I just get bored with the project and never finish it. I have several containers of the latter. This pattern works up so quickly that it will never see those containers. So quick and so easy to make.

These are wonderful. I love when you can make crochet look like knitting. This is one of the easiest pattern out there. You can whip it up in no time and you can customize each pair. I made eight pair this past Christmas to send North to family. They loved them.

I love these Lightning Fast Fingerless Mitts. The written pattern is so easy to follow and well written. I love the idea of the faux cables, they are so easy but look authentic too. I like the idea posted below to use a different color for the cables. it will make it look so sweet. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Oh my word, these are just The Perfect hand warmers for me for winter! I have to work outside most days and, trust me, keeping my hands warm really becomes a major issue in my life. These look so good too and I just know they are going to be wonderfully warm to wear.

These lightning fast fingerless mitts look incredible. They look so much like knitted gloves that they almost fooled me. In my opinion the cream/white/off white color looks the best. I see that they are a two hour project. I would love to pair these with a beanie and a matching cowl. Very beautiful and elegant mitts.

My grandmother crochet and I learned the basics from my grandmother, but I now have time to learn more and make these mittens. I love that this project is easy. All Free Crochet has videos to help me learn more on crocheting. I love the pattern and that these are modern-looking mittens.

These mittens are so easy and so fast to make that are and absolute joy. I was beginning to work with crochet and there were the perfect accessories to learn, I specially loved the faux cable. Now I keep them on my desk at work and come the cold winter months I use them to keep my hands warm and comfy and to be able to function on cold weather.

Making these was so easy! I made two pairs, one with the faux cables in a different color than the actual mitts and the other pair with the same color mitt and faux cable. When choosing to make the faux cables in a different yarn color, its important to choose a yarn color that compliments the mitts. For instance, for the pair I made I chose a black mitt with a dark grey faux cable.

These fingerless gloves look so chic with the cable pattern along the back of them. I've never worked with cables before while crocheting so I'm a little intimidated by this pattern but can't wait to attempt this holiday season since this would look great with regular gloves layered underneath!

Please do not be intimidated by the cable stitch! It is only a chain added separately to the top of the glove. I made these for myself, so I speak from experience. I love them and I hope you will, too.

I get the pattern and pictures just fine! I'm going to try these with a contrasting color for the cables. Thank you!

ok so i click on the pattern and alls i get are pictures of them

They are definitely lightning fast! I made a pair for my daughter for Christmas and I made them in about 2 hours! She loved them and so do I.

I cannot find the pattern, please help.

I have made several of these mitts. They are very easy to make and very comfortable. I made a pair for my self and more for Christmas gifts.

no pictures showing up on the .pdf of the pattern. I could probably figure it out but the pictures would be helpful

Why is his pattern considered a faux cable? It's an "X" design where a cable appears to have twists.

The X design is made by making crochet chains. Very easy to do.

The X design is made with a crochet chain.

Love these! Started a pair last night and finished them this morning. The pattern is easy to follow and learn - great to keep on hand as a last minute gift project!! Thank you for sharing!!!

I did finally sign up for box and I am still not able to download that pattern.

I could not download this pattern or another until I signed up for box(?) i guess which is cloud thing. I was something I would rather not do since i know nothing of it.
