It took me a while but I was able to find the Red Heart Holiday yarn. I guess people are getting a head start on the holiday crochet. I plan to make these and gift in lieu of Christmas stockings just to change things up a bit. I can not wait for my shipment to arrive.

For the true gifter that enjoys giving home made items what could be better than placing that gift in a homemade bag? This bag measures up to 8 x 10 and because it is made with a medium that will stretch a little this could be the ultimate gift bag for the small items. If you are gifting something a little larger I am sure this pattern can be modified to accommodate the gift.

Wow two gifts in one! Love this Just in Time DIY Gift Bag!!! I have never thought of crocheting a gift bag before but it's a great idea. If you make the handle longer it can be used as a trash bag in the car, just put a plastic bag inside. Love, love this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet bag pattern.

Wow! This personalized bag is perfect gift bag for friends and relatives. I'm sure the recipients will like this. Aside from green you can use other Christmas colors like red, yellow, blue, silver, and gold. I'm so excited to do this one Christmas

WOW! Talk about adding value to a gift giving occasion! This would do it! I noticed that the specified yarn is discontinued but Bernat Happy Holidays yarn has three Christmasy choices and with Easter right around the corner mixed berry caron cake would create a wonderful Easter bag that could be filled like an Easter basket with green grass and all.

I am always on the lookout for my next great project. This is a very cute idea for the upcoming holiday season instead of using the mass produced paper gift bags or wrapping paper. These could also be easily customized so that they would work year round. I am so glad I found this pattern. It has given me so many ideas.

Let's see, it's easy, cute, doesn't take much yarn or time to make. Sounds like a winner to me.i made two last yeAr like this. One went to my grand daughters teacher and one went to my doctors office loaded with fruit and candy. They said they would draw names to see eh on it the bag.

This is a very presentable and classy gift bag. We are used to seeing gift bags made of paper or plastic but if you receive one like this containing a present for you then it must come from someone really special. This Just In Time DIY Gift Bag is a special gift bag for special people. It is easy to make, it is beautiful and presentable and very practical. Thanks for the free pattern.
