I am so inspired by patterns like this one. With the large stash of yarn my mom and I accumulated, I could combine so many beautiful colors for different looks. Blues for a nautical look. Browns, Oranges, and Greens for a Bohemian look. And my favorite Yellows and white for sunny summer look.

This was the first time I saw the cotton yarn selection of Lily Sugar n Creme by Yarnspirations called dishcloth yarn but I guess it is because it is cotton. I love this colorful little bag and I know a sweet young girl that will love to have it.

What an adorable little bag. The colors selected by the designer are so vibrant and young. The videos were spot on as well as the pictures. This is just the right size for those quick errands that I just need to be sure I have my phone and wallet. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is so cool, how we can make a bunch of granny hexagons and we are shown how to assemble them to create this cute little bag! I thought it would be a lot harder than that, looking at how intricate the finished product is. The cotton yarn is saturated in color. Just lovely!

My grand daughter took one look at is and asked if I could please make it for her. But she surprised me by saying she wants it for a book bag. I think it would make a great book bag. I hadn't thought about it until she asked. I will be glad to make this easy, quick project for her.

Well, youll be easy to spot in a crowd if youre carrying this tote! I usually prefer more subdued colors, but this crazy assemblage really caught my fancy. Ive never worked the Strawflower granny before, but thankfully the designer has linked to both a written pattern as well as instructions videos for that and another style of flowered granny. Theres also a video for the entire bag. If you plan to carry any smaller items like pens, you will need to make a liner.

This bag is great! It screams Spring with the colors that you chose. A liner sewn inside would help keep smaller items from falling through the openings though. Also, I am not completely clear on what you mean by dishcloth yarn. Is there a yarn specifically labeled that or do you mean a cotton yarn?

This is just great. I have a shop online where I feature crochet handbags so I am always looking for more ideas. And with this pattern you can use different colors that are sure to match someone's colors. If you don't want to make that many hexagons, just make the pattern bigger or add a couple rows of double or half double crochet at the top instead of another row of hexagons.
