This is a gorgeous pattern. I love all the color choices the designer chose for this afghan. With the motifs that make up this afghan being only three rounds, it should work quickly. I love the fact that the motifs are joined as you work this instead of all sewn together at the end. That is the point where I usually get bored and give up. I have so many things left unfinished that only need to be joined.

I've been wondering for a while why AllFreeCrochet takes it upon themselves to change the names of patterns. On the website, the name of this afghan is Always Pointing North Blanket. This is not the only pattern I've seen this happen to.

They do this to increase interest in the patterns and to maybe bring in some new crocheters.
