The first thing I noticed about the pattern for this project was the excellent little diagram illustrating Both, Back and Front Loops. Im going to print this out as a resource for my senior crochet class. I know well use it in future projects. As for these boot cuffs, its very nicely written and has several useful photos. Theres also a .pdf option.

These are very cute and after reading thru the directions I can see that it will be easy to do. I have many friends and family in cold climates so these will make great Chrustmas presents. They will be inexpensive to mail and Unbreakable . Perfect all around gift to make.

I have never tried to crocheted boot cuffs. I will try this pattern this weekend. It could be a great gift for a family member who lives in the North where it gets cold enough to wear boots.

I have crocheted the boot cuffs, fingerless mitts and even a beanie all in this Brooklyn stitch. My daughters and granddaughters love them.
