I love this headband! Using two strands of yarn would make it much sturdier and less likely to stretch too much. I wondered about using a Foundation Single Crochet instead of the initial chain, and was happy to find that it worked out just fine. It is quite a bit more fiddly since youre using two separate yarns, but to me, it was worth the effort. Also, I have pom makers in different sizes, so I used those instead of all one size of pom.

This is so cute and it's very easy too. I can whip up a bunch in no time. I have a lot of little girls to give this too. My church has a toddler and young girls group that I work with and I really can't afford to buy them each a present but I can make these. By Christmas I will have a box full of them. I will do it in green and blue also.
