Great pattern for an ambitious beginner who wants to branch out and try something a little more challenging. The matching beanie is a good pairing. Makes the perfect baby shower gift! In fact, it requires a fairly small amount of yarn, so you can splurge and buy a couple other colors and make three or four for an entire wardrobe.

Very quick to work up. I made it in white and used that same rose color on the rows. The hat again was white with a rose stripe on the turn up. The pattern was very easy to follow. I would definitly make again.
