Throw Pattern

Stripe (Make 7)

  1. With A, ch 194.

  2. Round 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, [skip next ch, dc in next ch, dc in skipped ch (crossed dc made)] across to last 2 ch, dc in next ch, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in last ch, ch 2, turn to work along opposite edge of foundation ch, dc in next 2 ch, work between [] to last 2 ch, dc in next ch, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in base of beginning ch, ch 2, join with slip st in top of beginning ch. Fasten off.

  3. Round 2: Join B before first crossed dc along one length of Round 1, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in same space, *[work 2 dc between each set of crossed dc] across to first corner ch-2 space, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in corner ch-2 space, skip next 2 dc, (3 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner ch-2 space; repeat from * around, slip st in top of beginning ch.

  4. Round 3: Slip st in next dc, ch 1, sc in same dc, sc in top of ch-3 (crossed sc made), *[skip next dc, sc in next dc, sc in skipped dc (crossed sc made)] across to first corner ch-2 space, (2 sc, ch 2, sc) in corner ch-2 space, sc in each of next 6 dc, (sc, ch 2, 2 sc) in next corner ch-2 space; repeat from * across, work between [] to first sc, slip st in first sc to join. Fasten off.

Strip Side Border

  1. Row 1: With right side facing and working along one long edge, join A in corner ch-2 space, ch 1, sc in corner ch-2 space, sc in next 4 sc, *dc between next 2 corresponding sets of crossed dc on Round 2, pulling dc to current level of work, skip corresponding st, sc in next sc; repeat from * across to 2 sc from corner, sc in next 2 sc, sc in corner ch-2 space.

  2. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Fasten off.

  3. Row 3: With right side facing, join B in first sc, ch 1, work crossed sc across. Fasten off.
