Shawldigan

"The Shawldigan= shawl + cardigan! This will be your next favorite multi-wear accessory. The Shawldigan is ideal if you're cold-natured in a chilly office, or on a blustery day in the fall and winter. By adding some buttons, the Shawldigan can be worn as an oversized scarf, traditional triangle shawl, cocoon, wrapped cardigan, and more! Are you familiar with the extended crossed double crochet yet? If not, this project uses the ECDC, double crochet and reverse single crochet. What color combination with you use for your Shawldigan? It is recommended to use solid color yarns to let the stitches show off."

NotesDifferent weight yarns can be used, but more or less yarn will be required (e.g., more yarn if using a thinner yarn, less yarn if using thicker yarn); this pattern can be lengthened or shortened to your preference by adding or subtracting rows, which will change the striping pattern.
