Arizona Sunset Shrug

This Arizona Sunset Shrug has the look of a poncho without all the bulkiness. You'll be glad you made this crochet shrug pattern on cooler days. It will keep you at a comfortable temperature without being too hot. This crochet shawl pattern is stylish, too. You'll definitely get attention when you wear it out. Choose a beautiful color palette that will stripe nicely. This crochet shrug is lush and plush.

Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge11 sts + 7 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern.

When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
