Pattern

With A, ch 55.
1st row: (RS) 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped ch-3 counts as dc). Ch 1. Skip next 2 ch. 3 dc in next ch. *Ch 1. Skip next 3 ch. 3 dc in next ch. Rep from * to last 4 ch. Ch 1. Skip next 2 ch. 1 dc in each of last 2 ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 3 dc in first ch-1 sp. *Ch 1. 3 dc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 sts. Skip next dc. 1 dc in top of ch 3. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in first dc. *Ch 1. 3 dc in next ch-1 sp.
Rep from * to last st. Ch 1. 2 dc in top of ch 3. Turn.
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until work from beg measures 20" [51 cm], ending on a WS row. Break A. Join B.
Cont in pat until work from beg measures 80" [203.5 cm], ending on a WS row. Break B. Join A.
Cont in pat until work from beg measures 100" [254 cm], ending on a WS row.
Fasten off.

Fringe: With A, cut lengths of yarn 20" [51 cm] long. Taking 4 strands tog, fold in half and knot into fringe along both ends of Scarf.
Trim fringe evenly
