2nd row: Ch 2. 1 dc in 2nd dc – beg dc2tog made. 1 dc in each dc to last dc. 2 dc in last dc. Turn. 16 sts.
3rd row: Ch 3. 1 dc in first dc. 1 dc in each dc to last 2 dc. Dc2tog. Turn.
Rep 2nd and 3rd rows until work from beg measures 70" [178 cm].
