DID YOU KNOW?

If you're running out of crocheting ideas, there's always a great go-to crochet pattern: the scarf. Why scarves, you ask? There are so many kinds of scarves and so many ways to wear those different kinds of scarves. Plus, as far as crocheting ideas go, they're fairly easy to work up no matter which kind you choose to make.

The most common kind of scarf is the rectangle scarf or long scarf. They're very easy to crochet and usually just require repetititve and basic stitches. Depending on how long you want the scarf, it won't take too long to work up either. You'll probably want to be able to wrap it around your neck at least once, so keep that in mind while you're crocheting.

The square scarf or neckerchief aren't very common as far as crocheting ideas go. They are normally made out of cotton or silk. The infinity scarf, however, is very popular in the crochet community. It's also known as the circle scarf, but you crochet a loop and make it as thick as a normal scarf so that it can circle the neck twice. If you were only to make an infinity scarf that goes once around the neck only, it would be considered a cowl.
