Hyperbolic Edge Crochet Scarf

By: Julie Huston from Treasures Made From Yarn
Hyperbolic Edge Crochet Scarf

"This scarf features a hyperbolic design along the long edge of the scarf. I used Red Heart Ombre yarn for this project. You could use any worsted weight or size 4 yarn. Other materials include a size H hook, a stitch marker, scissors, and a yarn needle. The featured stitch in this scarf is half-double crochet. I like how the stripes turned out for this. It would look just as good in a solid color. The straight edge would make the scarf functional. You would have that edge against the neck. You could adjust the width of the scarf by using more stitches to make it more like a shawl, you are just doing increases with the three stiches on an end. If you enjoy the hyperbolic design, then this scarf is for you. "
