Barley Star Stitch Cowl

Barley Star Stitch Cowl

"I designed this cowl as part of the Holiday Stashdown CAL 2016. To be honest, I had completely forgotten all about this CAL until I received an email reminder. I had so much fun participating in the Holiday Stashdown CAL 2015, that I jumped in on this design. I had been playing around with some star stitch designs anyway, and when my boyfriend's mom gave me some thick and cushiony Wool Ease Thick n Quick Yarn, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I used almost a whole skein, but you could use any Super Bulky #6 yarn, or even two strands of worsted weight held together. This cowl makes a great gift, and a quick make as I had mine ready to wear in about an hour."
