"This easy DIY tree can be made by any level crocheter and offers a chance to involve kids of all ages. A stick forms the trunk and crocheted circles form the foliage. Adjust the number of circles to fit the height of your trunk. Experiment with different shapes, colors and types of yarn to vary the look of your forest. The sample shown uses worsted weight (medium-4) yarn but the pattern is adaptable to any yarn. Written for advanced beginners; uses American crochet terminology."
