"Crochet cheerful rounds of granny-square style stripes with this free crochet pattern. It’s quick and easy enough for advanced beginners. Stash bust to your heart’s delight! Worked in rounds from the top down, choose your colors as you go. Make it a wild riot of bright colors, or use more sedate analogous colors. The sample shows used a variety of medium weight (worsted weight) yarns with a 5 mm hook. It took about 185 total yards (169 meters) of yarn. The free pattern includes text instructions for an adult medium hat, to fit a head circumference of about 22-23". (A premium version of the pattern is also available; it includes full text instructions for sizes Infant through Adult Large, as well as crochet symbol diagrams for each size.) "
