Cascading Icicles Beanie

"The cascading icicles beanie is an easy level pattern. It uses the spike stitch, single crochets, half double crochets, working in the 3rd loop of half double crochets, and double crochets to complete. You start by making the brim of the hat with a size F hook and then join the brim to form a ring and work from the bottom up with a size G hook. The pattern can be worked as a closed top hat or as a ponytail messy bun beanie. The pom pom on top is optional."
