Naples Wrap
Use this easy crochet pattern to make your own wrap in a delicate design. This pattern can be worn in a variety of ways. Caron Country yarn is used. There are lots of pretty crochet shawl patterns for free that you can choose from, but this one in particular is truly stunning. It's the perfect addition to any woman's wardrobe.
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Scarf measures approximately 72"/183 cm long x 24"/61 cm wide
GAUGE:
In pattern, using J-10 (6 mm) hook, 7 clusters and 5 rows = 4"/10 cm.

Chain (ch), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (slip st), treble crochet (tr)
SPECIAL TERMS
Small cluster (small-Cl): For first leg, yarn over twice, insert hook in same stitch as previous sc, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice (2 loops on hook); For second leg, yarn over twice, insert hook in indicated st, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice (3 loops on hook); yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Large cluster (lg-Cl): Yarn over twice, insert hook in same stitch as previous sc, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice (2 loops on hook); yarn over twice, insert hook in next single crochet, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice (3 loops on hook); *yarn over twice, insert hook in same single crochet, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice (1 additional loop on hook);repeat from * 2 more times; yarn over twice, insert hook in top of next cluster, yarn over and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] twice, yarn over and draw through all 7 loops on hook.
NOTE:
This scarf is worked on the bias. Stitches on one edge are left unworked while stitches are increased on the opposite edge, creating a diagonal slant to the scarf and design. It may take some practice to understand and work the stitch pattern.

Chain 248.
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook, *ch 3, work first leg of small-Cl (in same ch as last sc worked), skip next 5 ch, work second leg of small-Cl in next ch, ch 3, sc in same ch as second leg of small-Cl; repeat from * across, turn—41 small-Cl.
Row 2 (RS): Ch 3, sc in top of first small-Cl, *ch 3, work first leg of small-Cl in same st as last sc worked, work second leg of small-Cl in top of next cluster, ch 3, sc in same st as second leg of small-Cl, ch 3, lg-Cl, ch 3, sc in same st as last leg of lg-Cl made; repeat from * across to last sc, ch 3, work first leg of small-Cl in same st as last sc worked, work second leg of small-Cl in last sc, ch 3, tr in same sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first tr, ch 3, work first leg of small-Cl in same tr, work second leg of small-Cl in top of next cluster, ch 3, sc in same st as second leg, *ch 3, work first leg of small-Cl in same st as last sc worked, work second leg of small-Cl in top of next cluster, ch 3, sc in same st as second leg; repeat from * across, turn.
Rows 4–29: Repeat Rows 2 and 3 thirteen times.
Round 30: Working around entire outer edge, ch 1, 3 sc in first sc, ch 5, (sc in next cluster, ch 5) across to corner, 3 sc in corner; working along short side, ch 5, (sc in edge of next sc, ch 5) across to corner, 3 sc in corner; working along opposite side of foundation ch, ch 5, (sc in next base of next cluster leg, ch 5) across to corner, 3 sc in corner; working along opposite short side, ch 5, (sc in edge of next sc, ch 5) to end; join with slip st in first sc. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Using yarn needle, weave in ends. Block lightly, if desired.
