Start in the center of your project and work your way out.

Chain 3.

In the first chain that you worked, stitch three double crochets.

Chain 1.

Repeat steps 3-4 three more times in the same stitch. You should end up with four clusters of three double crochets.

To start your new row, slip stitch in the top of the next two stitches.

Slip stitch in the top of your first chain one stitch.

Chain two.

Work two double crochets in that same chain 1 space.

Chain 1.

Work a double crochet cluster (three double crochets) in the same stitch.
