Dip-dyed Cosmetic Bag (or Crochet Hook Pouch)

By: Alexandra Richards from EyeLoveKnots
Dip-dyed Cosmetic Bag or Crochet Hook Pouch

"This is the fifth design in my Dip-Dyed series – a cosmetic bag, or crochet hook pouch! This bag features a fun ribbed pattern, two color blocks, and uses simple crochet stitches. I don’t often carry around a purse, and am not really a make up person, but I do enjoy using my bag for crochet hooks, and other essentials – yes, I keep a nail file in my hook bag as an essential! I recommend cotton yarn because it’s more durable, and this bag will most likely see a lot of use, and being pulled and pushed around in a larger bag/purse, and you'll need just over an hour to put it together."

NotesJewelry pliers are an excellent tool to use to help weave in ends, as cotton yarn can be quite tough on the fingers when weaving in with just fingers and a tapestry needle.
