Crochet Ridge Clutch

By: Natasha Butler from oohlookatme.com
Crochet Ridge Clutch

"The clutch is crocheted using the ridge stitch, which involves working US Double Crochet/UK Treble Crochet around the back and front posts of previous row. It is an absolutely gorgeous stitch once created. I also created the flap of the clutch by working US Half Double Crochet/UK Half Treble Crochet into the horizontal bar (bump) on the back of the stitch on one row, then on the front of the stitches on the next row. This creates a knitting style stitch. I used Paintbox Yarns Simply DK in Champagne White. I hope this brings you creative joy and inspiration!"

NotesThe pattern uses the following special abbreviations:-
-Tr/rf [dc/rf] - yo, insert hook in front and from right to left around post of appropriate stitch on previous row, then complete stitch as normal;
-Tr/rb [dc/rb] - yo, insert hook from behind and right to left around post of appropriate stitch on previous row, then complete stitch as normal.

The pattern includes both UK and [US] terminology.
